The National Weather Service has issued a Snow Squall Warning for Southeastern Beaver County, Northeastern Washington County and Eastern Iron County. At 939 AM MST, a dangerous line of snow squalls was located along a line extending from near Beaver to Enoch, moving southeast at 45 mph. Cedar City Airport reported a wind gust of 75 mph. A snow squall is a sudden, intense, and short-lived burst of heavy snow and strong, gusty winds that can drastically reduce visibility to near-zero in minutes. They are highly dangerous, especially to motorists, because they can turn clear conditions into "whiteout" conditions instantly, leading to rapid icy road formation. For up to date information turn to your local radio station or NOAA weather radio.

The Squall Warning is scheduled to end at 10 am.
