Federal Agents Under Investigation For Drug Trafficking
(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Federal agents with the Utah Department of Homeland Security are allegedly under investigation by the FBI. ABC-4 says the FBI recently raided the Department of Homeland Security offices in West Valley City in relation to a drug trafficking conspiracy. At least two agents are suspected to be involved in the conspiracy and one has been taken into custody. No further details have been released.
Man Intentionally Crashes Into Car Dealership
(Sandy, UT) -- A man is facing charges after he intentionally drove a car into a car dealership storefront in Sandy. The incident happened on Monday, when a man who purchased a vehicle "as-is" at Tim Dahle Mazda. Once the man left the car dealership, he noticed some type of mechanical issue and returned to the dealership wanting to return the vehicle. When he was told that he would not get a refund, due to the car being sold "as-is" he then drove the car into the dealership's storefront. No injuries were reported and the man now faces charges of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.
Bill Passed Allowing For Front License Plates To Be Removed
(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Drivers in Utah will soon no longer need to have a license plate on the front of their vehicle. This comes has the Utah Senate has passed Senate Bill 45. Effective January 1st, 2025, drivers will now only be required to have a license plate on the back of their vehicle.
Apartment Fire Displaces Residents
(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire at an apartment building in Salt Lake City's Rose Park neighborhood. The fire broke out Monday afternoon inside the attic and walls of an apartment building on Fig Tree PI. Nearly 60 firefighters arrived on the scene to fight the flames. No injuries were reported and in total, six units were damaged. A dozen people, including children, have been displaced.

In Utah, green bean casserole is the most popular dish this year. Utah is one of only a handful of states which did not have some type of dessert as its most popular dish this year. In other states, foods like crab legs were the most popular in Alaska, prime rib took the top spot in Idaho, and Gumbo was the favorite in Louisiana.
