Investigation Underway In Ilegal Moose Killing
Utah Division of Wildlife conservation officers are investigating after a bull moose was illegally killed near Duchesne. Wildlife officials determined the moose was shot between October 7th and 12th, with the bullet traveling through both of the animal's shoulders, impeding its ability to walk. Conservation officers say people were hunting in the area at the time, but believe the animal was intentionally shot and left to waste, rather than it being a case of hunters losing track of an animal after shooting it. Anyone with information on the moose's killing is asked to contact the Utah Division of Wildlife.
