Kanab Police Chief Charged After Hitting Pedestrian

(Kanab, UT) -- The police chief in Kanab is in trouble with the law. Chief Thomas Cram was charged last week with failure to yield after he allegedly hit a pedestrian with his car. It happened in the city in November, and resulted in the victim going to the hospital in serious condition. The charge brings with it a fine of up to 750-dollars and other items. Cram was still listed as the department's chief as of yesterday.

Firefighters Deployed To LA Return Home

(Sandy, UT) -- Some Utah firefighters deployed to fight the deadly fires in California are back home. They arrived in Sandy on Sunday after battling blazes in Los Angeles for more than two weeks. Sandy Fire Department Captain Mike Goff tells Fox 13 Now that they're grateful to the people of LA for all they did for them while they were on the ground. But now, he says all the exhausted firefighters are just excited to be home.

ATF Joins Investigation Into Ogden Fire

(Ogden, UT) -- The ATF has joined the investigation into the fire that destroyed a five-story building in Ogden. KUTV reports the blaze broke out Saturday at a building on 22nd Street that was still under construction, coincidentally located across the street from a fire department. No one was hurt, and authorities haven't said if they believe the fire was intentionally set.
