(St. George, UT) -- The Air Force is warning southern Utah residents of some added noise in the region this month. Officials at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada announced recently exercises will be conducted that might make things a little louder in Washington County. The exercises began yesterday and will continue through next Friday. The base explained dozens of planes will take to the skies a couple of times each day and remain in the air for several hours. Utah's Hill Air Force Base will also take part in the exercise.

(St. George, UT) -- Mountains throughout Utah are under an avalanche warning following major snowfall. The National Weather Service sent out the advisory for mountains in southwestern Utah, along with the Uinta Mountains and the Wasatch Front. It comes after Brian Head Lodge near Cedar City got about eight inches of snow over the last couple of days, while Alta Ski Resort got a whopping 43 inches during the same time. The advisory is set to expire at six this morning.

(Riverdale, UT) -- A Riverdale woman was accused of killing her baby. Twenty-six-year-old Bryce Jo Harkins is charged with aggravated murder in the death of the two-month-old boy. Police were called to her home Sunday after the infant stopped breathing, but the baby was dead by the time they arrived, with what are described as "multiple injuries that are consistent with aggravated child abuse." Investigators say Harkins later admitted to throwing the baby into his crib several times and to forcefully pushing down on his chest.

(Ogden, UT) -- An investigation is underway after a deadly officer-involved shooting in Ogden. It happened Sunday when the Utah County Major Crimes Unit was assisting several other agencies in arresting an attempted murder suspect at a gas station on Riverdale Road. The exact details surrounding the shooting, and the name of the person who was killed, haven't been released.

>>Teen Standing Outside Of Car Thrown Over Barrier

(South Willard, UT) -- A teen is dead after a freak accident in South Willard. Authorities say 18-year-old Johnathan McQueen had gotten out of his car when it broke down on I-15 near mile marker 352 Friday night. Another driver stopped to help, but their vehicle was struck by a third car that was passing by. The impact caused McQueen to be thrown over the barrier. He was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
