(Galveston, TX)  --  A Utah couple is warning travelers after being told they couldn't board a cruise ship in Texas.  Myra and Brian Gurr had planned the Caribbean cruise Galveston to celebrate their 44th wedding anniversary.  But two days before the cruise ship left Galveston earlier this month, they were told they would need a negative COVID-19 test before they could board.

The couple's first test result was not ready in time for the cruise, and a take-home test was not accepted by the cruise line.  The couple took a third test at an urgent care near the port but were not allowed onto the ship when they returned.

The Gurrs think the cruise line should have given them more notice and are waiting to see if they will get a refund.
