Utah Joins Other States Seeking Roe V. Wade Overturn

Utah is joining 23 other states in asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade and allow states to make their own abortion laws.  The friend of the court brief is connected to a Mississippi case that bans abortions after 15 weeks.  The brief supports the argument that there is no constitutional right to an abortion and urges the court the overturn its 1973 decision that made abortion legal.  Utah has passed a law similar to Mississippi's that outlaws abortion after 18 weeks, but that law is currently being challenged in federal court.
