A Utahn will represent more than 300-thousand members of the Army National Guard during a big competition later this year. West Valley City-native Spencer Fayles was named Soldier of the Year at the National Guard's Best Warrior Competition in Tennessee last month. Sergeant Fayles trained a minimum of 20 hours a week to compete at the highest level during a six-day challenge that tested his mental and physical limits.
