Area Officials Seek Public Input On Transportation Issues
I don't know if I'm alone, but it seems like our streets are getting more busy, and it is taking a little longer to get from place to place in Cedar City. Well, apparently, this has caught the attention of some officials here in southern Utah, as Cedar City, along with Iron County and the Utah Department of Transportation are seeking public input on addressing current can future concerns on transportation issues here in the city. They are specifically seeking input on how they can enhance the streetscape and reduce congestion on Main Street, 200 North and through the downtown area. Residents are being encouraged to take the survey by February 28th. The survey is being administered by Avenue Consultants. This is your chance to weigh in on future transportation improvements that will make it safe and a little easier to get around town in Cedar City. You can take the survey here. Everyone who completes the survey will be entered in to a drawing for a fifty dollar Amazon gift card. To find out more about the project click here.
