Guests at the groundbreaking for the Ephraim Temple of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints got a welcome surprise over the weekend. Church President Russell M. Nelson visited the site on Saturday to take part in the groundbreaking and offer a prayer of dedication. President Nelson touched on his ties to the area, noting that his mother and several grandparents were born in Ephraim. Construction of the new temple was announced last year.
