Police Are Searching For Woman Charged With Aggravated Assault
(Ogden, UT) -- Police say an arrest warrant is issued for a 31-year-old Pleasant View woman who allegedly used brass knuckles to punch a customer in a convenience store drive-thru. Police say Theresa Reyes is charged with aggravated assault and other charges. The warrant says that on August 23rd, Ogden police responded after a person at the Kwick Stop on 26th Street was injured. The victim told officers she was sitting with her child when Reyes came up to the car, spit and then hit her. Police identified Reyes from a photo taken of her license plate and other video captured by the victim. Officers say they located Reyes at her residence, but she fled the scene.
Utah Tech Offering Free Courses
(St. George, UT) -- Utah Tech University is looking to get more Utahns involved in technology. The St. George school announced free courses are being offered for thousands of online technology workforce development programs as part of an effort called "Learn and Work." UTU said the courses are made possible by an education company called PluralSight, and includes areas such as workplace skills and developing leadership abilities. Those who are interested need to be residents of the Beehive State and have at least a high school diploma.
