Iron County Deputies Seize Methamphetamines During Traffic Stop

Iron County Sheriff's deputies seized several packages of suspected methamphetamines as a result of a traffic stop near Cedar City on Thursday. Daniel Flores was booked in to the Iron County Jail on Wednesday afternoon on charges of drug possession and possession with the intent to distribute. Flores was originally stopped on a speeding violation. During the traffic stop, the K-9 unit was called to the scene to assist the officer on location. During a free air sniff, the K-9 alerted his handler to the odor or narcotics.
