Iron County Voter Turnout On Par With State Levels

The numbers are in for Iron County's midterm election. Iron County Clerk Jonathan Whittaker says just over 60-percent of residents voted in the midterms. The number is up from the initial voter night estimate, which reported about a 45-percent turnout. However, the 60-percent mark is in line with the state's 62-percent turnout. The statewide number was tweeted out by Lt. Governor Diedre Henderson.
