(St. George, UT) -- The Washington County woman accused of killing her parents will have a court-appointed attorney. Mia Bailey was in court yesterday to face aggravated murder charges. The 28-year-old told the judge she doesn't much money and needed a lawyer. Police say Joseph and Gail Bailey of Washington City were allegedly shot and killed by their daughter. Police say she also shot at her brother who was barricaded in the family home with his wife.

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Firefighters are still on the scene of a major fire at a Salt Lake City recycling complex today. The fire at the Pallet Express facility on West 900 South that started overnight was largely contained by this afternoon. The Salt Lake City Fire Department says about 70 firefighters worked in staggered crews in intense heat to contain the fire. Firefighters also had to deal with exploding tires on trucks parked at the site. Crews will remain through the night to address possible hotspots. No injuries are reported and the cause is under investigation.

(American Fork, UT) -- American Fork in the Wasatch Front is the latest city in the state to be hit with a mass power outage. Rocky Mountain Power says 94-hundred customers were initially without power today. Power should be restored by late this afternoon. The RMP website shows American Fork, Lindon, Orem and Vineyard were all impacted by a substation problem. Another outage was reported today in Tooele that left more than three thousand customers in the dark. About six-thousand customers in Ogden and Sandy lost power on Tuesday. On June 20th, about 19-thousand customers in Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake and West Valley City had no electricity because of a grass fire.

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- A Salt Lake City man is in custody after he threatened an apartment manager and tried to seriously hurt his own pet cat. Unified police arrested 42-year-old Siddharth Shrivastava yesterday. He was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on a felony count of torturing a companion animal, a misdemeanor count of threatening violence and a misdemeanor count of intoxication.

>>Pearland Couple Missing In Utah, Feared Lost In Flash Flood
(Moab, UT) -- Authorities in Utah are helping to search for a couple from Pearland, Texas, who may have been swept away in a flash flood near Moab. The Grand County Sheriff's Office says Ray and Maranda Ankofski were in Utah last Friday exploring a trail before friends lost contact with them. Police found the couple's abandoned car and a UTV. A search team also located clothing and a wallet with ID belonging to Ray Ankofski. The search continues today with aerial surveillance and K9 units on the ground.

Utah has the 32nd overall pick in tonight's second round.
