Rocky Mountain Power Ready To Cut Power For Wildfire Prevention

Rocky Mountain Power officials say they will cut power proactively if needed to help prevent wildfires in central and southern Utah. Senior vice president of power delivery Curt Mansfield says their system can withstand most weather events, but adds extreme weather is unpredictable and in any season can cause damage. He adds they will take measures to reduce the chance of wildfires.
