Southern Utah University has renewed the Alliance for Education it has had with Bryce Canyon National Park. For more than a decade, SUU has referred to Bryce Canyon National Park as the university's “eastern campus.” Research, transformational learning and engaged students are just a few of the results of this alliance. Interim SUU President Mindy Benson said, “It was an honor to sign the alliance for education and recommit to advancing our educational partnership.” The Bryce Canyon Natural History Association played a key role in facilitating the agreement. The non-profit organization supports educational programs and research projects that promote understanding and appreciation of Bryce Canyon National Park.
