UHP To Beef Up Seat Belt Enforcement For Upcoming Holiday

Law enforcement agencies across Utah are ready for a busy Thanksgiving travel weekend. They'll be cracking down on seat belts across the state starting Wednesday. That's why the Department of Public Safety and Highway Patrol issued a reminder yesterday to buckle up. New numbers show seat belt usage is up four-percent from last year, with nearly 92-percent of people protecting themselves and others on the road.
