Utah Democrats Seek More Transparency

Democrats in the Utah House have filed bills requiring more transparency from state leaders during an emergency. One proposal would require the governor's office to keep better records on what it spends, and another would require that state lawmakers have more timely access to those records. Democratic Representative Andrew Stoddard says he is considering a bill that would reign in some emergency procurement powers as well.
