Garden City Missing Teenager Found In Montana

A search is over for a 16-year-old girl who missing and considered endangered. The Rich County Sheriff's Department reported on Facebook that Stormy Wilkinson has located alive and safe in Billings, Montana. She was last seen on Sunday leaving her Garden City laundromat job in the company of an unknown man. Her phone was found abandoned not far from her workplace. The man is described as a white man with brown facial hair and a large scratch on the left side of his face. He was driving a red or maroon 4-door sedan. The sheriff's department in Rich County expressed gratitude to all who shared social media posts and also expressed thanks to the local businesses, in and out of state law enforcement agencies, along with media outlets covering the story.

Little Cottonwood Canyon Closed For A Period Due To Vehicle Crash

Crews are on the scene of a vehicle crash and fire leading to the closure of Little Cottonwood Canyon today. Police say the crash was reported on State Route 210 at about 8:50 a.m. UDOT says they first implemented a seven-mile closure from the parking lot at the mouth of the canyon to Snowbird, but now slow speeds are allowed on the canyon highway. Police did not release additional information about the crash or the time the highway would fully reopen.

Two Drownings Prompt Warning From Utah County Sheriff

The Utah County Sheriff's Office is urging people to use caution near rivers and bodies of water especially during heavy runoff periods. Deputies say two separate drowning incidents this past weekend involved victims near rivers. On Saturday, a 12-year-old boy fell into the Provo River. Search and rescue teams pulled him from the water four miles away almost two hours later. The boy was later pronounced dead at the hospital. On Friday, a 19-year-old woman was reported missing at Horsetails Falls Trail in Alpine. Rescue crews found her body on Saturday. Deputies say recovery efforts for both victims were more dangerous due to the rapid waters.
