Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Southern Utah Mountains
The mountains of southern Utah are under a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Twelve to eighteen inches of snow are expected to fall in the mountains during the advisory. Winds gusting up to 40 miles per hour are also expected. The weather will result in travel difficulties in higher elevation routes. Some areas of blowing snow are also possible. Slow down and be prepared by having an emergency kit with you as you travel. For current road conditions go to the Utah Department of Transportation website or dial 5-1-1.
