Cedar City Issue Boil Order For Parts of City
On Monday, August 9th, Cedar City Water Department collected six routine samples of city culinary water. One sample came back with possible E-Coli contamination. Based on the findings, and as a precautionary measure, the city has issued a "Boil Order" for the following areas:
200 S to Shurtz Canyon Dive
Main Street (East)
Systems are currently being flushed and tested again. The city will continue testing until all samples return with negative results. The "Boil Order" will remain until that time.
