The curtain goes up tonight on the 61st season of the Utah Shakespeare Festival. The festival regularly draws over 100,000 patrons to enjoy the timeless works of William Shakespeare, along with selected musical and contemporary productions. This years slate features crowd favorites and thought provoking presentations. Patrons this year will be able to view All's Well that Ends Well, King Lear, The Tempest, Sweeny Todd, The Sound of Music, Trouble In Mind, Clue and Thurgood. And there's much more than the play productions. Patrons can also enjoy the free play seminars and orientations held through out the day. And, a great way to kick off the evening activities is to gather friends and families and take in the complimentary Greenshow. And, if it has been awhile since you've tasted a famous Festival Tart, it's time to to spoil your tastebuds. To get a list of daily presentations, and to reserve tickets go to bard.org. The season runs in to October
