Enoch homeowners asked to pile flood debris in the street in front of homes
Volunteers and Local Businesses Pitch in to Assist Flooded Homeowners
KSUB has received word from Rocky Ridge Landscape Rock and Rolloffs, one of the businesses helping clear flood debris in Enoch that, as there are not enough dumpsters to place in front of each home, debris dumpsters will be set up at the end of streets in neighborhoods effected by flooding.
Homeowners should place debris in the street in front of their homes, without blocking traffic, driveways or in a matter that might damn up the flow of water in the case of more rain.
City and volunteer crews with use construction equipment to ferry debris from in front of homes, to the nearest dumpster.
City leaders say ten-percent of the population is dealing with flooding, with some residents getting more than five feet of water in basements. Mayor Geoffrey Chestnut says most residents will not be reimbursed for their losses because Enoch is not considered a flood plain.
