Intermountain Healthcare facilities are reinstituting strict visitor guidelines due to the newest surge of COVID-19. Officials say these guidelines apply to people who are not Intermountain caregivers, business partners, affiliated providers or individuals seeking care or services for themselves. Minors under the age of 12 may not visit hospitals or emergency departments, visitors must be in good health before entering a facility and undergo a COVID screening. ER patients can only have two-visitors per 24-hour period, masks must be worn at all times and visitors must maintain social distance.
