Utah Doctors Recommend Booster For Eligible Utahns

Utah doctors are urging older Utahns to get the COVID-19 booster shot when they're eligible.  Older Utahns were the first to get the COVID vaccine, and nursing homes are seeing more breakthrough cases. Doctors with University of Utah Health say the antibody levels of protected individuals after the second dose have now dropped down below that protective level, so they should no longer consider themselves protected.  Booster shots are available to anyone age 65 and older who received their two doses of the Pfizer vaccine at least six-months ago.
