Crews battling the Left Fork Fire are beginning to concentrate on reducing area that still contain heat. Containment of the blaze is starting to increase. The western portion of the fire is the area that continues to have the most heat. Due to erratic wind that occur in the area, efforts are being directed to reduce the areas that potentially could become hot spots. Saw work and falling trees continues and crews are also working to thin vegetation. The Structure Protection group will finish their assessment and provide the findings to the local fire managers and Bryce Woodlands HOA. Fire managers indicate that they should have the entire perimeter assessed by the end of the day. The Left Fork Fire is now listed at 4,254 acres and is now considered 13 percent contained. 738 personnel have now been assigned to the fire.
