A early morning earthquake measuring 3.76 on the Richter scale shook southwest Utah, Tuesday. The quake occurred at 3:44am and was centered in the Pine Valley Mountains approximately 10 miles west of New Harmony.

As of 8am Tuesday, there have been at least six aftershocks measuring between .88 and 2.70 in magnitude, according to the University of Utah Seismograph Lab. The quake was felt throughout southwest Utah--including Cedar City. No injuries or damage have been reported.
