Security cameras will be installed in the Downtown Parking garage in Cedar City along with outside the Heritage Theatre to try to catch people vandalizing cars and slashing tires. The city council approved spending nearly 30-thousand-dollars on the cameras this week. City Manager Paul Bittmenn told commissioners at a work meeting last week the issues have been ongoing for several years and also include graffiti and fires in stairwells.
