Lt. Governor Urges Patience In Getting Election Results
Utah's lieutenant governor is urging patience when it comes to learning the results of today's elections. Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson said in-person turnout at local polling locations could delay the first round of election results tonight. If there are a large number of voters waiting in line when polls close at 8 p.m., Henderson says no results will be released until the last voter makes their choices. Final results in close races could take several days to determine as county election officials finish counting mailed-in ballots.
