(Salt Lake City, UT) -- A Utah family is saying goodbye to their three-year-old son. Mother, Kallie Wright posted on social media Monday their decision to take Levi off life support following "several sleepless nights" and discussions with multiple neurologists. Levi went into a coma last week after driving a toy tractor into a Beaver County river. He was found unconscious downstream and taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City, where he has stayed since the accident. His mother believes Levi has held on long enough for her and her husband, rodeo star Spencer Wright, to "find peace with letting him go."

>>Fire In Kane County Threatens Structures

(Kanab, UT) -- A wildfire is causing problems in Kane County. Utah Fire Info shows the wildfire started yesterday afternoon east of Kanab along Highway 89 which resulted in some traffic stoppages. Officials say the fire was sparked by vehicle malfunction. It was estimated to be around 150 acres in size but it's unclear if firefighters were able to begin setting up a containment line. The flames were threatening structures and had caused some power outages in Kanab.

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Residents and tourists are urged to prepare for excessive heat that will create dangerous conditions in parts of Utah by midweek. The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for portions of Utah. Meteorologists say lower Washington County, the Glen Canyon Recreation Area of Lake Powell and the lower elevations of the Grand Canyon will be getting unseasonable and "very hot temperatures" especially toward the end of the week. Highs could hit 111 degrees with evening lows dropping only into the 70s.

>>Man Survives After Being Electrocuted By Power Line

(West Jordan, UT) -- A man is lucky to be alive after he was electrocuted by a power line at a construction site in West Jordan. It happened Friday afternoon when the man's forklift touched a power line, causing his heart to stop. Officials say his co-workers were able to resuscitate him, and he was conscious and breathing normally by the time he got to the hospital.

>>LDS Church Dedicates Taylorsville Temple

(Taylorsville, UT) -- LDS Church Elder Gerrit W. Gong dedicated the Taylorsville Utah Temple on Sunday. The church says dedicating is a ceremony in which a special prayer is said, designating the building for use. The dedication ceremony was held in two sessions, one at 10 a.m. and the other at 1:30 p.m. Ground was first broken at the Taylorsville site in 2020.
