The trial of two animal activists accused of stealing pigs from a Utah farm is getting underway. Jury selection began yesterday at the Washington County courthouse. The two defendants are accused of breaking into Circle Four Farms in Beaver County and stealing two piglets in 2017. Supporters of the defendants say their action was a rescue, much like breaking into a hot car to rescue an overheated animal. The trial was moved to Washington County because of alleged threats against supporters of the two activists.
